Phil McIntyre Entertainments has been producing, promoting and representing artists since 1974.
For twenty years the company was one of the country’s leading rock and roll promoters, working with bands including The Smiths, AC/DC, The Clash, Culture Club, New Order, Tears for Fears, Metallica and Queen amongst many more.
The leading promoter of live comedy shows in the UK, PME has worked with comedians including Rowan Atkinson, Dave Allen, Chris Rock, Ben Elton, Victoria Wood, Billy Connolly, Steve Coogan, John Bishop, Monty Python, The Fast Show, Ricky Gervais, The League of Gentlemen, Lenny Henry, French & Saunders, Peter Kay, Little Britain, The Mighty Boosh, Bill Bailey & Jack Whitehall.
The company has produced 7 West End hit plays: Gasping, Silly Cow, Slip of the Tongue, Waiting for Godot, Smaller, Ghost Stories and the Laurence Olivier Award-winning Popcorn. Recently PME has produced the hugely popular live stage adaptation of Craig Cash and Phil Mealey’s TV show ‘Early Doors’.
Musicals produced include the long running ‘We Will Rock You’; 'Our House'; ‘Tonight’s The Night - the Rod Stewart Musical’; Victoria Wood’s ‘Acorn Antiques – The Musical!’; the world’s first Hip-Hop musical ‘Into The Hoods’; ‘The Commitments’ as well as ‘Only Fools and Horses; The Musical’
‘Monty Python Live; One Down Five to Go’ the last ever Monty Python Tour was produced by PME in 2014, selling out ten nights at London’s O2 Arena.
PME promoted the Olympic gold medalist skaters Torvill & Dean on four world tours and subsequently they have co-produced live tours of the ITV hit Torvill and Dean’s Dancing On Ice.
PME are also very proud to have produced the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing Live for the last ten years. The company has also produced the live tours of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.
The PME film and television division has produced two feature films; Guest House Paradiso starring Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson and Maybe Baby starring Hugh Laurie, Joely Richardson, Rowan Atkinson and Dawn French.
Included in their television productions are Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, , Peter Kay Live at Manchester Arena, Peter Kay’s Britain’s Got the Pop Factor and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice; Monty Python’s Live from the O2, Craig Cash’s and Phil Mealey’s Early Doors, Our Friend Victoria; Victoria Wood With all the Trimmings; Victoria Wood’s Midlife Christmas; Victoria at The Albert and Acorn Antiques: The Musical! ; Ben Elton’s Blessed , Get A Grip and The Right Way; Dynamo: Magician Impossible; Dave’s One Night Stand and Live From The BBC; Alan Davies’ As Yet Untitled. Phil McIntyre TV has also filmed over 50 live stand-up comedy shows for TV or DVD broadcast.
PME has also managed some of the foremost comedic writing and acting talent in the UK including Ben Elton, Peter Kay, John Cleese, Victoria Wood, Caroline Aherne, Craig Cash and Adrian Edmondson.
