Sally has had the opportunity to take part in some of the BBC’s most popular comedy series: she has had cameos in two series of Little Britain, is a regular in two series of TittyBangBang and appeared in Absolute Power and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.

Other credits for the BBC include Twisted Tales, Fifteen Storeys High and Doctors. She has also appeared in Where the Heart Is and Fat Friends (both for Yorkshire Television), Margo Leadbetter: Life Beyond the Box (Wall to Wall Television), Redemption Road (Spice Factory) and some may remember her as Petula Peach, one of Fred’s paramours on Coronation Street.

She won the Best Actress Award at the Outtakes Dallas Film Festival for her portrayal of Vanessa in Seven Spice Productions feature film Chicken Tikka Masala.

On stage, Sally has played parts as varied as Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie, Bella in Lost in Yonkers and played the lead role of Anna Barron in Spending Frank, a play written for her by Alistair Hewitt.

Having recently played opposite Victoria Wood as Mrs Whittaker in Housewife, 49 for ITV1, Sally is delighted to be working with her again.

Sally is also a regular presenter on BBC Radio Lancashire.
