Nova trained at the Arts Educational Schools, London.

On leaving, she was part of the original company in the national tour of Aspects of love. West End and national tours of Oklahoma!; Phantom of the Opera and Salad Days followed. Nova then appeared in three productions with the New Shakespeare Company at Regents Park Open Air Theatre: Troilus & Cressida, A Midsummers Night Dream and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. This was followed by a tour of Annie, in which she understudied and played the role of Grace Farrell, and then a year spent in Germany, playing Jellylorum in Cats.

Nova has appeared in rep at York Theatre Royal in Kes the Musical (voice of Kes); Sheffield Crucible Theatre in The sound of Music; the Yeovil Octagon Theatre in Carousel (Carrie), Oklahoma! (Ado Annie), Bedroom Farce (Jan) and The Rise and Fall of little Voice (Little Voice), Perth Theatre, Scotland in Carousel (Julie Jordan) and at the Gaiety Theatre, Isle of Man in Grease (Sandy) and The Rocky Horror Show (Janet).

She has appeared as principal girl in pantomimes all over the U.K.

Cabaret and concerts throughout Europe & the UK includes work with So Productions, West End Live, Tenors & Divas Incognito, A Night At The Musicals and her own show Simply Julie.

Her recording credits include Christina in His Excellency and first solo album, Once Upon a Dream, which is selling well in Dress Circle, London.

Recent credits include understudying and playing Anna in the UK tour of The King & I, Side by Side by Sondheim at Stevenage and Follies at London's Landor Theatre.
